Purpose
The Kennebec Water District is responsible for managing the affairs of the water district through the adoption of policies and regulations that ensure effective water treatment and distribution practices. Steps that the district uses to achieve these ends include acquiring properties, authorizing contracts and agreements with public and private entities, voting to fund capital projects through bonds or notes, and to review and adopt a budget for the district.
