Facilities

The Susan Child Boat Launch provides a sizable dock and hand-carry access for canoes, kayaks, and rowing shells. The boat launch is easily accessed from the Maintenance Parking Lot. The boat launch provides access to almost 5 miles of flatwater paddling on Messalonskee Stream as it wanders through woods and fields close to the center of Waterville and adjacent areas of Fairfield and Oakland.
