Recycling Information

The City of Waterville offers single-stream (no sort), curbside recycling to its residents. Collection takes place weekly, on your regular rubbish collection day.

No special bins are required, however, recyclables must be in containers clearly labeled, "recycling" or "recycle." Plastic or metal containers/bins are acceptable

I Recycle, Inc. (Armory Road) also offers drop-off recycling for residents and businesses. Sorting is required.

Electronics Waste Disposal/Recycling

Car batteries and Freon Units

AIM Recycling (25 Ayers Street, Oakland) will take car batteries and Freon units. Call FMI: 207-465-2212

Christmas Tree Recycling

There is also a special collection for Christmas trees each year during the month of January.
