Spirit of America Award Nominations Needed

The City of Waterville is seeking nominations for this year’s Spirit of America Award recipient.  The Spirit of America Award is presented annually to an individual, organization or project for outstanding volunteerism and community involvement. 

Past winners include:

•                          2011 - Gilman Pelletier

•                          2010 - John Koons

•                          2009 - Lauren Sterling

•                          2008 - Peter Joseph

•                          2007 - Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen

Please send nomination information to info@waterville-me.gov by Friday, April 27.

The City will recognize the award recipient by proclamation at an upcoming City Council meeting in the Council Chambers and an award ceremony will also take place at the State House in October.
